Comments must be received or postmarked by Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, to be included in the public scoping meeting documentation.

The project purpose is to improve north-south mobility and connectivity in the study area
The project need is because the study area lacks major north-south highways, which limits mobility and connectivity

A: Scoping is an open process involving the public, stakeholders, federal, state and local agencies to:

Identify potentially significant environmental issues related to the proposed action
Solicit input from the agencies and public to focus the analyses on issues of concern

Q: What information is available for review?

A: Information is available for your review and comment:

Draft coordination plan,
Draft purpose and need,
Draft methodology and level of detail for alternatives analysis and range of alternatives; and
Draft timeline,
Exhibit boards,
Presentation and script,
Pre-recorded virtual public meeting video presentation.

Q: How will feedback be considered for the proposed project?

A: Comments will be considered and will help narrow down the alternatives moving forward to further evaluation.
