Texas is set to receive $407M over the next 5 years to create an EV charging network. This network will give drivers confidence and flexibility when traveling for work, recreation, or exploration regardless of distance traveled or weather conditions. Stations must be on the Alternative Fuel Corridors first then dollars can be spent on roads, not on the corridors. FHWA will not declare any corridors complete in the first year of the program.

Nominations to extend the Alternative Fuel Corridors were submitted to FHWA on Apr. 27, 2022.
